WASHINGTON—First Lady Michelle Obama hosted the first Kid's State Dinner on Monday, all part of her Let's Move initiative. Fifty-four children from across the United States were chosen out of 1,200 submissions to attend the dinner. It was a big day for some North Carolina kids who were some of the lucky ones to be chosen.
