MONROE--Police cleared people out of several rooms at a Monroe motel Friday night after finding what they said was a meth lab in one of the units.

Officers wore protective gear as they entered the ground floor room at the Relax Inn on Hwy 74 just after 9:00 p.m.

Police also arrested a man who was staying there but they have not released his name.
