JACKSONVILLE – Police said 32-year-old marine Christoffer Apger shot and killed 30-year-old Jason Eimer in the parking lot of the Navy Federal Credit Union on Yopp Road.

Investigators said Apger and and his wife were in the process of separating and Eimer became her boyfriend.

Officers say they found Apger at a nearby Harley-Davidson dealership where he shot and killed himself.

Just hours before his murder, Eimer left an eerie post on his Facebook page reading, "If something happens to me tonight I love you all," and he asked for people to pray for him.

Investigators say the initial 911 call came in around midnight on Thursday from someone at the Harley-Davidson dealership.

"Shortly thereafter another crime scene was identified at Navy Federal. At that crime scene Mr. Justin Eimer was located deceased," said Maj. Patrick Traitor, Jacksonville Police Department

Officials said they are continuing to investigate.
