President takes to Twitter to rally support for debt plan
As the year ends and the debate over the fiscal cliff heats up, President Barack Obama took to Twitter to rally support for his debt plan.
Earlier this week, he held a Twitter chat surrounding the hash tag #my2k. Obama is asking people to tweet about the hardships that would arise if the GOP and Dems don’t reach a deal. The 2k he’s referring to is the average increase in a family’s taxes if the U.S. were to go over the fiscal cliff.
