If you're perpetually late, there's an app for that. A new app called Twist is a solution to that problem.

All you have to do is pre-set appointments and dates on your phone and Twist, using your phone’s GPS, will text designated phone contacts when you leave and what time you’re set to arrive. If you’re running late, the app will send a new ETA to the friends waiting for you. The algorithms running the Twist app take into account traffic, different modes of transportation and your own habits when determining your ETA.
