WARMER, THEN A COLD WEEKEND AHEAD
Eyeballing wintry stuff for next week...
----------------
TONIGHT: Mostly clear. More clouds near sunrise. Low 30.
FRIDAY: Increasing clouds. High 57.
----------------
High pressure departs, winds shift to the south and our Friday will have temperatures pushing the mid 50s for highs. Overnight lows, early Friday morning, will be determined by what time clouds arrive across our region. Early arrival will mean the mid 30s. A later arrival could allow for temps to fall into the lower 30s with a few zone in the upper 20s again.
Complexity is the word for Friday evening, night and early Saturday. The long and short of it, means a small chance for a wayward sprinkle Friday night ahead of the clearing and colder air Saturday. Cold temps spill south through the day Saturday with temperatures holding steady or falling through the afternoon. Sunday morning we may land close to 19 for the low with highs in the lower 40s. Looks like mid to upper 40s into early next week for highs, with lows near 20 on Monday and 32 early Tuesday.
Tuesday presents an interesting dilemma with this post. Some of the model guidance suggests, we may have a brief morning dance with some wintry precipitation. Snow comes to mind, more so than ice, but, with only a few early model runs under the belt, color me still skeptical about this for now. Concept is worth tracking through the weekend and once we get a better feel for modeling vs. Ma Nature, we should have a clearer picture into Sunday, if not earlier.
