BOSTON -- Former presidential candidate Mitt Romney is stepping back onto the national stage, if only briefly.
After nearly four months in seclusion, Romney has emerged for an interview with Fox News.
He's also scheduled to deliver his first post-election speech this month at Washington's Conservative Political Action Conference.
But former aides have described the return as a thank you of sorts to close out Romney's political career.
