Police release identity of man shot and killed outside of Charlotte club

CHARLOTTE--Charlotte-Mecklenburg police have released the name of the man shot and killed outside of a club near uptown Charlotte.

Paul Fyffe, 24, was found suffering from a gunshot wound around 2:30 a.m. Friday in the parking lot of Club 935 on South Summit Ave. He died at the hospital.

There is no word yet on any possible suspects.

Multiple agencies responded to the scene including the Vice and Gang Unit and the Computer Forensics Team.
