GREENSBORO, N.C.--25 new charter schools are opening next year in North Carolina and they're hiring.

On Saturday, teachers got a chance to check out the positions available at a job fair in Greensboro.

Some of the new schools cannot hire yet, but are still taking the opportunity to meet teacher's face to face.

"A lot of the discussion in here is not about hours and pay, but more about what are charter schools. What are the differences in charter schools so I think that's very helpful to have that face to face,” said Eddie Goodall with N.C. Public Charter Schools Association.

Charters from Chatham, Durham, Forsyth, Granville, Guilford, Mecklenburg and Randolph counties participated in the job fair.
