Wake Forest head Coach Jim Grobe talks about the challenge of playing the Tigers on Thursday night.

WINSTON-SALEM (AP) -- Maybe this is what Clemson's high-flying offense needs to get clicking again: a matchup with the Atlantic Coast Conference team it beats most often.

The 14th-ranked Tigers -- who had season lows in every meaningful offensive stat last week except the score -- visit Wake Forest on Thursday night looking to get back to their norms of big yards and big points.

Clemson (6-1, 3-1) was held to just 135 yards rushing, 160 yards through the air and 295 total yards in its 38-17 win over Virginia Tech.

Offensive coordinator Chad Morris says the Tigers' offensive stars "might have been signing too many autographs'' and need to get refocused.

Wake Forest (4-3, 2-3) has lost to Clemson 59 times -- second only to South Carolina (65).
