CHARLOTTE -- Mecklenburg County Manager Harry Jones was robbed at gunpoint Friday night. It happened on North Davidson Street around 8 p.m.

Investigators say Jones and his wife were approached by the armed suspect but sources say the couple is OK.

The incident is under investigation.
