CHARLOTTE -- A sea of pink participants are making strides against breast cancer Saturday. A local American Cancer Society is holding the 12th annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer 5k walk/run in honor of breast cancer awareness month.

The 5k kicks off at the NASCAR Hall of Fame on E Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
