CHARLOTTE – Former Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum rallied early voters for Mitt Romney in Charlotte on Thursday morning.

Santorum joined RNC Chairman Reince Priebus and other GOP candidates at the Charlotte Victory Office on Morehead Street. Santorum told the crowd that North Carolina can't afford four more years of President Barack Obama.

"You can see that President Obama really has no answer to his failure over the last four years to deliver on any of the promises that he made to the American people, and his attacks on Gov. [Mitt] Romney are looking pretty hollow," Santorum said.

Santorum is holding similar events Thursday in Hickory and Gastonia.
