GASTONIA -- Gastonia fire fighters have battled three fires in the last 24 hours. The latest broke out at about 4:45 a.m. at the Longhorn Steakhouse on Cox Road.

Firefighters were still on the scene before dawn, trying to determine a cause. One fire fighter suffered a minor injury to his leg. He was taken to the hospital and is expected to be OK.

No other injuries were reported.
