Stanley Police arrest man in connection with home robbery

STANLEY, N.C.--Officers from the Stanley Police Department have made an arrest in connection to an earlier home invasion and robbery.

Raymond Phillips, 36, entered the victim's residence on Bennington Drive carrying a stun gun and threatened the victim while requesting money

Phillips stole $30 dollars, a cell phone and some credit cards before getting away.

Phillips is charged with first degree burglary and robbery with a dangerous weapon.

He is being held at the Gaston County Jail under a $100,000 dollar bond.
