CHARLOTTE -- It may no longer be a buyer's market in Charlotte. The Charlotte Regional Realtor Association says the number of closings increased in September compared to last year and the median sales price, which they say is the best measure of trends in the industry, also climbed.

There were fewer distressed listings and homes sold faster in September.
