CHARLOTTE—Thousands of Carolina Panthers fans tailgated outside Bank of America Stadium Sunday afternoon for the late kickoff versus the Seattle Seahawks.
The bad weather and bad record kept some fans away, but the diehards said they're standing strong and really want to send a message to the rest of the people who didn't use their tickets.
"We need to stop being the fairweather fans and be hardcore fans and go in there and support our team," said Bobby Gillard.
