CHARLOTTE--A car was discovered in a northeast Charlotte pond on Sunday morning and was linked to a Saturday night hit-and-run.
Neighbors said they heard a lot of arguing on Phil O'Neil Drive on Saturday night and woke up Sunday morning to find the Honda in the water.
A fire department dive team pulled the car out.
No one was inside, but police confirm the car was involved in a hit-and-run at Sugar Creek and Interstate 85 on Saturday.
The victim's injuries were not life threatening.
