CHARLOTTE--Nine people have to find a new place to live after a two-alarm apartment fire in east Charlotte Sunday morning.
The fire was at the Riviera Apartment complex in the 1800 block of The Plaza.
Firefighters found heavy smoke pouring from a first floor apartment when they arrived at about 7:00 a.m.
The Red Cross is helping the nine adults who will have to find another place to stay.
No one was hurt in the fire.
