CHARLOTTE--CMPD's Violent Criminal Apprehension Team arrested Lee Funderburk early on Sunday.

Police said he cut off his electronic monitoring anklet, just one day after his release from jail. Funderburk was charged of possession of a firearm by a felon.

He is the 24th offender to cut off his monitoring bracelet in 2012 and all of those offenders have been recaptured.
