CHARLOTTE -- A Carolinas Healthcare System employee who worked as a trainer at Vance High School is accused of having sex with a student. Melinda Ilg, 29, is charged with sexual activity with a student by school personnel.
Carolinas Healthcare officials say she is on paid administrative leave during the investigation and she is no longer working as a trainer at Vance High.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools contracts with Carolinas Healthcare to provide certified athletic trainers at high schools.
