CHARLOTTE -- First Lady Michelle Obama and Dr. Jill Biden continued to make the rounds at a number of events in Charlotte. Thursday morning, they attended a women's caucus at the Charlotte Convention Center.

"Over these last few weeks and months, it's become more and more clear: we can't go back and fight the same battles we fought," said Biden

Both women told the crowd their husbands have their backs and will continue to fight for their rights.

"Barack understands the challenges women face. I think that's abundantly clear," said Obama. "And, we know he will keep fighting so all our daughters have no limits to their dreams. That's over."

The ladies promised women will not have to fight for their rights if President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden are reelected.
