MANTEO, N.C.--A North Carolina community celebrated a milestone for what is not only the longest-running outdoor drama in the state, but the longest-running outdoor drama in the country. “The Lost Colony” takes the audience back to the 1580s, when a group of English colonists mysteriously vanished from their settlement near the Outer Banks. This summer, people acting in and seeing the show got to be a part of that history.
