CHARLOTTE--Several labor groups are expected to protest outside the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Government Center in uptown Monday.
They will be voicing their concerns about the city being selected to host the upcoming Democratic National Convention.
They said they will protest every Monday leading up to the event.
Organizers said their support behind President Barack Obama has not changed, but they just refuse to contribute money to a convention state that bans collective bargaining for teachers and other public workers.
