The national average for a gallon of unleaded is $3.69.
Drivers in North Carolina are paying just a little less than that.
Drivers in Charlotte are dishing out the most in the state, at $3.62 a gallon.
The average price for a gallon of gas in Raleigh-Durham is $3.61.
Greensboro has an average price of $3.60 and Wilmington is seeing some of the cheapest gas at $3.59.
