CHARLOTTE--Police reported a couple held up Walkers at the Shoppes at University Place.
Tommy Moses and Latoya Howie are charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon kidnapping and conspiracy.
Investigators say they approached people walking around the lake on July 28 and again on August 3.
In both cases, police say, Moses pulled a gun and demanded cash and valuables.
On July 28, Moses and Howie took the victims to an ATM to withdraw cash, then returned them to the robbery scene.
On August 3, the victims refused to hand over their debit cards and the suspects ran away.
