RALEIGH -- A lot of money is on the line Wednesday as the multi-state Powerball jackpot has now topped $212 million. Saturday night marked the third time this year the jackpot went above $200 million.

If a North Carolinian wins it all Wednesday night, the $142.9 million lump sum prize would eclipse the largest prize ever awarded in the state's history.
