CHARLOTTE – Charlotte based Snyder's-Lance reported second quarter earnings Tuesday. Net revenue dropped 3 percent compared to the year before, but net revenue growth increased by about 1 percent.

Snyder's and Lance merged in 2010, making the company the country's number two producer of salty snacks behind Frito-Lay.

The company said they expect wider profits in the last half of the year.
