CHARLOTTE -- Several shots were fired into condominiums in east Charlotte Friday morning. Charlotte-Mecklenburg police say someone called 911 at about 5:30 a.m. to report hearing gunshots at the condos on Windsor Gate Lane off East WT Harris Boulevard.

A total of five units and one car were hit by bullets. Neighbors said they were shocked something like this would happen in that area.

"Our neighbor's door is shattered, the bullet grazed my car," said neighbor Pamela Burris. "Like 44 rounds went off."

At this point, no arrests have been made.
