GREENSBORO -- It's been a whirlwind day of testimony in the John Edwards campaign finance trial.

Cate Edwards was expected to testify, but did not take the stand. The defense said they plan to call her tomorrow and could call Edwards himself, as well as his former mistress, Rielle Hunter, tomorrow.
