CHARLOTTE — Police have identified the victim in the third shooting in Grier Heights in two weeks.

According to police, Nakio Cousart, 32, was found shot to death inside a car at Zircon and Alpha Streets at about 7 p.m. Saturday. Detectives say the shooting is not random and could be connected to drug activity.

Investigators are looking for a blue SUV, possibly a Ford, seen driving away from the shooting. Anyone with any information that can help police is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.
