CHARLOTTE—Thousands of bees were found inside the walls of a Charlotte business.

Employees at Fishman Flooring Solutions noticed dead bees around the entrance to their showroom and others in the back of the warehouse. The landlord contacted a bee keeper and a construction crew to tear through the wall.

When they did, they found thousands more bees along with about one thousand pounds of honey. The process took several hours Friday.

The bees will be saved to extract more honey. Then the bees will be released out into the country.
