ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. (AP) -- Interstate 95 is again open after being closed for hours after a crash involving three tractor trailer rigs near Rocky Mount.

Three people were injured in the wreck that occurred shortly before 10 p.m. Wednesday in Nash County.

One of the rigs was carrying cooking oil and caught fire. It took firefighters about an hour to extinguish the flames from the wreck.

The wreck was about a mile south of the I-95/U.S. 64 interchange. One northbound lane reopened shortly before 7:30 a.m. Thursday. The other lane opened about three hours later.

Officials say all three drivers were taken to hospitals. At least one was taken to the University of North Carolina burn center. Two of the drivers were listed in critical condition early Thursday.
