Anyone who deals with summer bummers such as bug bites, burns, and even a few skinned knees should know there are natural and incredibly affordable treatments in your pantry right now. Terri Bennett will show you the three things you need to feel better quickly.

This summer, when you’re dealing with things like itchy bug bites, painful sunburns, or even a few scraped knees and elbows - try all natural solutions for powerful relief.

Mosquito bites and other bug bites mean lots of itching and scratching. An effective solution is to simply make a paste of baking soda and water and apply it on the skin for quick relief. Not only does it work extremely well to take the sting away, it’s drastically cheaper than most mosquito bite products.

For those who spent a little too long in the sun, two inexpensive items from the grocery store are just what you need. An oatmeal or white vinegar bath will soothe the pain of a sunburn. A large jug of white vinegar is less than $3 and can be poured directly into a bath.

The power of honey has long been used when treating some minor scrapes. Smearing some on the skin will not only help your body heal but keep the area from scarring, as well. The next time you are out of antibiotic ointment, just head to your pantry.

Not only are all of these good chemical-free options, they also do not cost a lot. Be sure to do your part this summer for an inexpensive and natural way to treat summer ailments.
