GREENSBORO, N.C. – Those that weren't lucky enough to actually be at the Duke-Carolina game flocked to area restaurants and sports bars to catch it on the big screen.

Hours before tip-off to the Duke-Carolina game, people started pouring into bars and restaurants, vying for a seat to watch one of the biggest rivalries in college basketball.

And while it is all about the game for the fans, they say the atmosphere is definitely part of the fun.

A big game that means big bucks for businesses.

"We are full we have people here hours before the game,” said David Wallendorn. β€œIt's never like that whether it's for dinner or anything else but they're here and they're excited and they're going to be here all night. And it's great for business it's great for North Carolina and i think probably around the country it's probably good for businesses everywhere."

Much like the Super Bowl, restaurants like Kick Back Jack's prepare way ahead of time when it comes to the Battle of the Blue.

And a game businesses say they're happy to cash in on.

"This is by far the largest sporting a that we have here at Kick Back Jack's,” said Wallendorn.
