CHARLOTTE--Duke Energy held a job fair Friday afternoon at their Little Rock operations center on Wilkinson Boulevard.

The company is hiring apprentice-like service workers for its Carolina service area. Representatives said people interested will receive a complete understanding of the training required.

"We feel like its a great opportunity for folks these are wonderful careers they're very important jobs at Duke because they support our customers and these positions are very important in providing good customer service to our customers here in the Carolinas," said Leslie Clark with Field Operations.
