FAYETTEVILLE—Two young boys and their friends pedaled for a good cause in Fayetteville on Sunday.

10-year-old Rithvik and 7-year-old Saathvik Annamaneni set up a 6 mile charity bike ride through their neighborhood to benefit the Amazon rainforest. Other children from the neighborhood joined them as they raised money for the new york based charity, Rainforest Alliance.

They both have one goal in mind.

"I wanted to save at least part of the rain forest if I can't save the whole thing," said Rithvik Annamaneni.

Currently, they have raised more than $3,000 for the charity.
