CHARLOTTE -- Several streets in uptown Charlotte will close in preparation of this weekend's Time Warner Cable's Barbeque and Blues Festival. At 7 p.m. Thursday, Tryon Street between Trade Street and Martin Luther King Boulevard will close. As an alternate, 3rd and 4th streets will remain open.

At 9 a.m. Friday, all cross streets between Trade and Stonewall streets will close. Trade, Stonewall, Church and College streets will remain open.

All streets will reopen Sunday at 3 a.m.
