CHARLOTTE- A national survey shows there could be steady job growth the last few months of 2010 across the state. The Manpower Employment Outlook survey found North Carolina companies will slow down their hiring but more companies will be adding employees rather than letting them go.

According to the survey, from October to December, 75 percent of the companies surveyed expect to keep their staffing levels the same. Meanwhile, 15 percent plan to hire new people, 7 percent expect staff reductions, and 3 percent don't know what they're going to do.

The Manpower survey also broke the state into specific regions.

Their survey found 16 percent of employers in the Charlotte-Gastonia-Concord region plan to hire between October and December,

Greensboro-High Point had 11 percent and Raleigh-Cary, with one of the strongest results in the nation, showed 21 percent of companies surveyed plan to hire.
