CHARLOTTE – The final two jurors and three alternates were seated Thursday in the Demetrius Montgomery murder trial.

The makeup of the 12-person jury is one Hispanic man, three black women, four white women, one black man and three white men.

Both the prosecution and defense said they have matters to address Friday. Opening statements will likely begin Tuesday morning.

Montgomery is charged with killing Charlotte-Mecklenburg police officers Jeff Shelton and Sean Clark in 2007.
