FAYETTEVILLE -- Former and current employees from Docks at the Capital protested in front of the entertainment complex in Fayetteville Friday. They're upset about working five weeks without pay.

Authorities say Dock's owner Dr. Melvin Henderson failed to submit quarterly earnings and sales reports to the ESC, the IRS, and the state department of revenue for the fourth quarter of 2009. Authorities add he also left out information from the first and second quarter of 2010.

One former employee says she hopes the protests will raise awareness for the families who have not received their paychecks.

"There is a business that people still support out here that doesn't support its employees," said Amber Dillon. "You have families, just like everyone who comes in here, who are suffering because he's not paying any paychecks."

The business is currently closed to the public.
