CHARLOTTE -- Bicyclists continue to pedal as 24 Hours of Booty rolls on. The annual fundraiser for the Lance Armstrong foundation began Friday night and continues all day Saturday.

The route on on Queens Road was quiet Saturday morning as breakfast was served from 6:30 a.m. until 8:30 p.m. Riders took a break to fuel up for the second half of the race.

In its ninth year, 1,200 riders are pushing themselves through a nearly three mile loop, all with the same goal-- to raise more than $1 million for cancer research.

If traveling in the Myers Park area on Saturday, expect some delays. The course winds down several streets including Queens Road, Queens Road West and Selwyn Avenue.
