RALEIGH -- North Carolina State’s baseball team is the No. 3 seed in the Myrtle Beach regional and will open up play Friday night against the College of Charleston.
Coastal Carolina and Stony Brook meet in the other opener.
The Wolfpack got even better news when catcher Chris Schaeffer was released from the hospital Sunday night. He was involved in a violent collision in the ACC championship game against Florida State.
There still not sure whether or not he'll be able to play in the tournament.
