RALEIGH – The SBI is looking into the death of a man in the custody of the Pender County Sheriff's Office.

Officials with the state attorney general's office say 32-year-old Michael Williams died April 18 in Burgaw, N.C. They have not released details about the death, but say the SBI will deliver its findings to the local district attorney's office.
