H1N1 virus continues to be problem around Charlotte area

CHARLOTTE – The H1N1 flu virus continues to spread across the state, with 76 new cases being confirmed this week.
The state total for H1N1 flu cases is now 255. Six counties in the Charlotte area have confirmed cases, including Mecklenburg County with five, Cabarrus County with three, Iredell County in two and Stanly, Rowan and Union counties having one case each.
The N.C. Health Department updates the number of cases every Wednesday.
