Insurance company could cut Triad jobs

Philadelphia-based insurance company Cigna Corp. is planning to cut about 1,100 jobs as people reduce coverage plans and companies insure fewer workers.
According to The Business Journal, Cigna employs about 450 people in the Triad, and the company’s insurance covered more than 8,000 residents in this area last year.
So far the company has not released information on where it will make the cuts and whether there will be any in the Triad.
