Police say two people began arguing with 37-year-old Richard Lopez and two of his friends after they played the song on a jukebox. Officers say the group was kicked out of the Steamboat Springs bar and a fight ensued in the parking lot.

Lopez was found unconscious after police arrived. He was pronounced dead at the hospital on Monday.

The Rocky Mountain News reports that autopsy results show Lopez died of severe trauma to the head and brain.

Lopez, a special forces soldier, served tours in Korea, Iraq and Afghanistan. Police have interviewed two people in connection with the fight, but no arrests have been made.
