CONCORD, N.C. -- Cabarrus County commissioner Coy Privette made his first public appearance Monday since being arrested last month.
The 74-year-old was arrested and charged with six counts of aiding and abetting prostitution.
Privette skipped last month's meeting, saying he would be a distraction to the board. He made no comment about his arrest Monday night.
Since his arrest, Privette has resigned as president of the Christian Action League and has said he would resign his leadership position with the State Baptist Convention.
