Former Britt football coach Bailey approved to take over Scotland job

SCOTLAND COUNTY, N.C. -- Jack Britt football coach Richard Bailey was approved by the Scotland County Board of Education Monday evening for the head coaching job at Scotland High School.
The Scotland County job became open when Chip Williams stepped down after guiding the Fighting Scots to the school's first 4A championship with a victory over Porter Ridge.
Bailey posted 119-44 record during a 12-year tenure at Jack Britt. Along the way, he guided the Bucs to three state championship game appearances
