RALEIGH -- Russell Wilson, the two-sport star from N.C. State, has signed a professional baseball contract with the Colorado Rockies, the team that drafted him in the fourth round earlier this month.

Wilson has already stated on numerous occasions that he plans on returning to the State football team this fall but baseball will be in his immediate future.

He will suit up for the franchise's A affiliate, the Tri-City Dust Devils in the next day or two.
